Peak Time Rebate Pilot

Entergy New Orleans residential customers can earn cash incentives for reducing their energy use during short periods of high electricity demand. Customers who participate in this pilot will receive an email and text message notification to reduce energy use during a peak demand event. The email will share tips on how to reduce your electric usage for the event duration, normally 2-4 hours. A maximum of 15 peak demand events will be called each year. This pilot does not require any type of technology in your home; your savings depend on your energy-saving actions during a peak demand event. The less you do, the more energy you save.
